Coorg or Kodagu is a hilly district of Karnata and is most sought after hill place by tourists in south India. Breath taking pastoral hills, coffee plantations, spices' aroma take you to the heaven. There are few places which you can not miss in coorg- are Namdroling Monastery, Nagarhole National Park, Talacauvery, Raja's Seat, Madikeri Fort, Gaddige Raja's Tomb. You can also go for trek with a local guide and a Barapole River rafting. Do not forget to taste locally made wine and pandi curry. You can buy Kachampuli - coorgi natural vinegar, black pepper, cardamom, vanilla, forest honey, local coffee, and home decor items made with coffee wood.
